Mark Hollingsworth has been an investigative journalist and author for the past 25 years. He began his career in television and worked for Granada TV's 'World In Action', the award-winning current affairs programme, for five years. He has helped to make 30 documentaries.
Mark Hollingsworth is also the author of 10 books and his ground-breaking investigations have included stories on Mark Thatcher, David Shayler's revelations on MI5, the torture and framing of Sandy Mitchell in Saudi Arabia, the former Conservative MP John Browne and how MI5 vetted and blacklisted BBC employees for decades.
Mark Hollingsworth now focuses on profiles of wealthy and powerful individuals, the Middle East and Russian Oligarchs. His most recent articles include a profile of the fraudster Bernie Madoff (written with Mary Ann Nicholas) for 'Tatler' magazine and the role of private detectives in the Madeleine McCann case for 'ES' magazine. |
